Discussing my work on Peter Jackson’s They Shall Not Grow Old with the Purdue Polytechnic Institute at Stereo D in Burbank, CA.
I’m a creative problem solver with a diverse background in technology, research, programming, and art. I use this multidisciplinary skill set to find creative approaches to problems where art and technology intersect.
I have both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Graphics from Purdue University. Over the years I’ve worked on VFX and animation projects ranging from Hollywood blockbusters to small, independent films. I’ve authored courses for online learning and taught in a university setting. I’ve also done brief stints in research and game development.
I thrive in fast-paced environments, and I place a high value on teamwork, creativity, friendliness, and integrity.
In my spare time, I like to make games, tinker with new technology, and play the piano.
